Study purpose and current availability
HSK Note is an independent vocabulary learning tool. It is not an official HSK examination service and does not guarantee a particular score, qualification, or exam result. Content may contain errors; please report them so we can review them.
The current development pilot contains 200 cards and is not the complete HSK 1–6 release collection. The app’s actual release content and store availability must be checked when it launches.
Free and paid access
The first learning session offers five cards free. After that, free learning provides a one-question preview with the remaining cards blurred. Vocabulary search permits five free word-detail openings before paid access is required. These are not daily allowances, and the app does not use advertisements to unlock additional access.
Paid access removes these learning and vocabulary access limits for the included content. The purchase screen identifies the product, included access, price, currency, and billing period before you confirm a purchase.
Lifetime purchase
A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing purchase for the HSK 1–6 words, meanings, examples, and word audio included at launch. All lifetime price options provide the same included content; a different price does not create a different content tier.
Lifetime does not promise every future product, level expansion, grammar feature, image feature, HSKK course, or additional example audio. Any separately offered future content will be described when offered. Lifetime access is tied to a valid, non-refunded purchase; it is not a promise of unlimited future services or permanent device compatibility.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
Monthly and annual products are automatically renewing subscriptions. The store bills the price and billing period shown at confirmation unless you cancel according to that store’s rules. Manage or cancel a subscription in the Apple or Google account used to purchase it. Deleting the app or sending a data-deletion request does not cancel a store subscription.
Cancellation ordinarily stops a future renewal, with access continuing for the period already paid for, subject to the store’s rules and applicable law. Check the store’s confirmation for the next billing date, current price, and any change in terms.
Prices and time-limited offers
The store’s purchase confirmation controls the amount and currency charged. A lifetime offer may change with elapsed time from the app’s installation reference time: the first 30 minutes, then until five hours, then until 24 hours, followed by the regular price. The clock continues while the app is closed; opening a purchase screen does not restart it.
Available prices vary by store and region. Any displayed saving is based on the comparable regular and active prices in the same currency, so the percentage can vary by region. Monthly and annual prices do not follow the lifetime offer clock.
Restoration and refunds
Use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple Account or Google Account and the same store used for the original purchase. Network access may be needed for verification. HSK Note does not currently offer its own account system for transferring purchases between Apple and Google stores. Restoring paid access does not restore locally deleted study progress.
Refund eligibility and processing follow the relevant store’s rules and applicable consumer law. Contact the store using its official process and contact us if a verified purchase does not unlock access. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Content and responsible use
Use the app for personal study and do not misuse the service or interfere with its security or other users. Any rights you have under applicable law remain unaffected. Third-party notices identify the permissions that apply to the specific material they cover; they do not license the entire app or official examination materials for redistribution.
Changes and contact
We may correct content and change features or these terms. Material changes affecting an existing purchase will be explained and handled in accordance with applicable law.
